| Does anyone else try and run past trainers without battling them in the games to get to the next city quicker? | |

| sometimes i just tried to avoid them, but others, when i just need to train, i just battle them | |

| i liked how you can just avoid the gym trainers of the first gym in Gens 1, 3, and 4, but they took that out in GEN 5 | |

| I always battled gym trainers even when you could avoid them. I didn't like how they added gym trainers for the virdian gym on hg/ss since it made Blue look weaker to me. | |
