| Typically Ash is a ten-year-old boy, well on THE VERY FIRST EPISODE HE WAS. But now there just going to keep him a mere ten year old? To be honest he should be at least 18-19 years old, plus in episode 063 - "The Battle of the Badge", Ash stated 'I can't believe it's been a whole year since we seen Viridian", or something along the lines of that. And then not much is said about his age at all. So what up with that? | |

| Ahem. I once did all of the math out. But let's see here, in the 3rd pokemon movie there was a short about the Pichu Brothers, In which ash stated that it had been a whole year since he and pikachu had met. Meaning ash was 11. This was around the 3rd year of pokemon. Thus, 3 year of real time, must mean one year of cartoon time. It has now been 13 years of pokemon, therefore 13 / 3 = 4.3 Ash is 14 years old.  | |

Uhh...no, sorry.  Ash was defeated by a Lv. 5 Snivy. IDC if Pikachu didn't have it's electric attacks, it could beat that thing with Iron tail and quick attack. | |

| It does make sense why they would wanna restart Pikachu. Cuz if they had a uber strong Pikachu that just kept getting stronger Ash would always win every battle in 1 shot. Now who wants that? Its broing. | |
