Chapter 17: the underground path

Silver: morning all, eh samson, what are you doing?

Samson: me? nothing, just putting gel in my hair

Jordan: what for, you got a date?

Silver: Oooo

Samson: no of course not, ok then guys onwards to the next gym which is in ... vermillion city, and that's where the S.S Anne is

- before they leave however

Misty: hi guys listen i don't suppose you can find a use for these, they're S.S. tickets i got them from Bill, i had saved him after 1 of his experiments went wrong, anyways i have 3 of them, do you want them? take them as a thank you for saving us

Silver: thanks misty

Misty: no problem, see ya

Samson: ok then onwards to Vermillion

- they try to leave only to find a sign saying that they must use a diversion

Jordan: so i guess the diversion is through route 10 then

Samson: ok... then

Silver: now it'll take us longer to get to vermillion, and don't even think about saying that line Jordan

- they get to the path that leads to route 10 but...

Jordan: oh darn, there's an oversized bush in the way, so i guess that going here is out of the question

Silver: excuses, of course we can go through... on second thoughts point taken jordan, let's go back, that sign must be a fake

- they go back to where the sign was, only to find it gone

ANON: sorry about that, some hooligan tried to put that sign up for no reason, but it's nothing to worry about, you can go on through

Samson: great

Silver: thanks

- they move on to route 5...

Jordan: can't we get to Vermilion by cutting through Saffron

Samson: we could, so why don't try it

Jackson: going somewhere

Silver: Jackson!

Jackson: i see the phony sign didn't trip you up, but enough of that, weren't we gonna battle?

Silver: oh yea, Espeon get out there

Jackson: go electabuzz

Silver: use shadow ball

Jackson: use thunderpunch

- as the thunderpunch makes contact with the shadow ball a small explosion is seen, but the thunderpunch's power is weakened, and hit's the target, electicity flows through espeon, he had been paralyzed

Silver: use psybeam

- instead of using psybeam, electricity flowed through espeon, it couldn't move, electabuzz then proceeded to use...

Jackson: Thunder!!

- and just like that, electabuzz fires the bolt into the clouds and down comes a stronger bolt, and lands on Espeon. Espeon couldn't take it, and collapses

Jackson: hmph, i knew i'd win

Jordan: what you just did there sounded ruthless

Jackson: all i done was the command, it was electabuzz that fired te bolt, i didn't tell it to, i' outta here before it gets out of hand, Silver, it was a good battle, but you was outclassed

- Jackson leaves for the underground path

Silver: espeon return, strange that Jackson went to that path over there and not through Saffron

Jordan: let's go through the gate anyway

- they go to the gate to find a sleepy guard

Samson: err... guard wake up

Guard: aaahhhh, i was not asleep, you can't prove nothing

Samson: 3 to Saffron

Guard: no, i'm not letting you throughm i didn't get my coffee, so get out, OUT!

Silver: what a flop, no wonder Jackson took the other path

Jordan: it says the path is the underground path, it goes form route 5 to route 6, which leads to vermillion city

Silver: great let's go

- our heroes decide to take the underground path that leads to route 6

Samson: it looks like we need a flashlight

Jordan: it's not that dark, and where's your sense of-----

Silver: *ahem* Jordan, ok guys let's keep on going... straight

Samson: great!

Jordan: sure
